If there is one thing that Global Britain is still a world-beater at, it's producing grotesques to makes fools of themselves on The Apprentice: the supply appears inexhaustible, even under no-deal Brexit. Boris should stick that on the side of a bus.

The Apprentice is on its 15th series and even [Alan] Sugar is sounding jaded, telling the besuited contestants that "chancers, brown-nosers, moaning minnies..." he'd seen it all before. And so have we.
