The only character who appears in all three storylines is Hiram, whose villainous schedule honestly seems flat-out exhausting.

Kiss me, Riverdale, you lovable dork.

Don't lose sight of the fact that a sexy, crime-filled show about Archie Comics is inherently ridiculous, and the writers are now in a groove where they can make this bigger, bolder, and yes, goofier than ever before. This show is a gift.

There should be an overwhelming sense of relief that Riverdale is pulling the G&G storyline together. Instead, there's a sense of disappointment at the mundanity of the outcome.

Episode 7 connected three separate stories of fear, fraud, and Fizzle Rocks into one overall web of development. The plot pieces fell into place, and even as the characters went their separate ways, their paths still tied together.

We are so close to settling all of Riverdale's Gargoyle King, Gryphon & Gargoyles-related madness... The Man In Black supplies us with so many clues about the Gargoyle King's identity and, therefore, a way to stop him.

Hearing Veronica say that maybe her father isn't such a bad guy after all - when she has been given no discernible reason to believe or say this - is, again, painful.

The road they have each begun to travel is a dark one, and I feel our winter finale next week will have many hanging in the balance.

I know you must be wondering why this entire episode wasn't about Cheryl storming The Sisters of Quiet Mercy with her bow to save her cousin, but what actually went down was still pretty solid.

The episode was both narratively and visually different-even from segment-to-segment-and even in a series like Riverdale where changing things up is the norm, it especially stood out in that episode.

While this isn't a vast reinvention of the formula, it leads to some solid character beats while still making time for huge revelations for the season's overall mystery.

Is the fact that the clues are so obvious meant to throw us off? Is it one of those red herrings where the guy holding the knife with blood all over his shirt and shredded neck veins in his teeth isn't actually the killer?
