Description
The drama series comes back again with more surprises, most notably when Cate and Baze are summoned to Lux's manager's office. They are shocked to learn that Lux has failed and must be drastically improved or risking exit. In the meantime, after the rug pulled out from under her leadership, Kate began a difficult process to look for her next job. In an attempt to mature, Baze decided to interview a center in his father's company.

The show has always had the makings of a pleasant, engaging family drama, and if continues to give the stories higher stakes, give the supporting characters more to do and provide the leads with richer journeys, then this Life may have been worth saving.

When the CW sent me a screener of the season two premiere I figured I would give the series one last shot, only to realize that Life Unexpected had now come to represent a different kind of show altogether, and one I have little patience for.
