Description
The series begins with more wonderful comedy that we live in differently through the story of the young urban couple Alison and Mike. The couple had surprisingly inherited the peaceful abandoned house and had both planned to turn it into an active family hotel. Over time, financially strained Allison and Mike see their dreams come true when they inherit a new hotel but are unaware that it holds the ghosts of the former population unexpectedly.

In making us giggle at the supernatural, Ghosts is very British - a mashup of Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), not to mention the manifold sillinesses of Hammer horrors

It is cheerful, comfort-blanket stuff and feels, to me anyway, like meeting up with old (far more successful) friends (my daughter was a Horrible Histories fanatic, I'm pretty much word-perfect on their scripts).
