Description
The real disaster occurred in Mexico in 1994, when Mexican presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colossio was assassinated for his principles. On the other hand, Louis's widow is trying to experience a harsh experience in order to reveal who did it. At Colossi's funeral, Diana sees more clear things as suspects appear at every turn. Meanwhile, Mario Apporto is similar to a new victim of murder and Benitez is thinking of proposing a different theory.

While Crime Diaries: The Candidate has fine performances, its pacing is off and seems to treat the person who was assassinated as more of a straw man than an actual person.
