Vox Lux (2018)
Description
It is a story of a great struggle that began with that teenage girl who turned into a life of fame and success. Teenager Celeste (Ravi Cassidy) managed to form a long-standing fan base after singing at a memorial service. She was the beginning of this young artist with the help of her sister, Stacey Martin, and Talent Director (Good Law), who became the famous pop star of the time. After a powerful tragedy, Celeste walked in support of her frantic sixth album, a collection of scientific hymns titled Vox Lux.

"Vox Lux" throws a lot at the wall, and while not all of it sticks, it still manages to rattle a nerve and linger long after the credits roll.

Vox Lux is truly invested in how pop music functions as salvation for many, even if it leads to damnation for one particularly jaded individual.

Powered along by Portman and Cassidy, Vox Lux has a lot to say, but, despite being very good in parts, misses out on its place at the top of the charts.

Dazzling cinematography and haunting music.

Ultimately, the indulgent "Vox Lux" comes across like a puzzling leaked demo that hasn't been finessed into a cohesive song.
