This movie follows the struggles of Walraven Van Hal, a banker, who driving by his will of helping the Dutch resistance, with the help of his brother, support them financially, to find himself in dilemma with the state, as he faces many oppositions that leads his life to danger, so he struggles and does his best, in order to survive.
