Description
In 1969 Florida, reporter Ward Jansenreturns to his Florida home-town to investigate a case involving a death row inmate with the help of Ward's younger brother Jack and sultry death-row groupie Charlotte Bless. But into the mix comes the fiancĂ©e of the imprisoned convict who stirs up confusing feelings of love and lust for the young Jack.Â

It's a movie that seems to have a mild form of heatstroke: it's blurry, as if filmed long ago, and feverish, and the story wanders all over the place as if lost in a bayou. When it's over, you want to wipe your brow.
