Description
Thrilling adventures by the ineffective lieutenant Frank Drebin amidst a series of lethal loopholes that can not be seen because they come quickly. Drebin's partner will be shot by drug traffickers, Frank begins to look again. At the same time, Queen Elizabeth II of England goes to the city and a man named Vincent Ludwig plans to assassinate her through a baseball player used to carry out the operation. The Naked Gun is hugely funny, but it`s also liberating-precisely because it centers its aim on that cold, closed system and blows it apart. The straight lines are shattered; the empty spaces in the images are packed full until they burst.

The two Zuckers and Abrahams have, surprisingly, forgotten a principle of parody that they taught everyone else. Namely, that the jokes have to fit, and that they have to refer to the target -- in this instance police movies.
