The Bachelor
Description
It seems to be very comedic where a man named Jimmy goes looking for a girl to marry her in a very short time. The story began with Jimi finding that he was forced to fulfill that requirement - that he must marry for a multi-million dollar fortune. Maybe on his 30th birthday tomorrow, as Jimmy begins to retreat through his past girlfriend to find a real wife to get all that money that seems missing.

You know a movie is desperately overreaching when Peter Ustinov, affecting a dreadful southern accent as Jimmy's grandfather, must yell into a megaphone for no apparent reason: 'The human condition!'

Steve Cohen's screenplay, is pretty much DOA.

when it comes to delivering punchlines or finding the laughs in a speech, O'Donnell is way out of his area of expertise, and that's exactly what he's called upon to do throughout 'The Bachelor,' a wholly irritating stab at a fluffy romantic farce.
