Description
It's that strange story about Charlie Farmer, a man who lives in a commercial town and insists on realizing his dream. His dream seems very strange when he wants to fly his own rocket into outer space and look for another life. It may be easy when everyone around him has his dream and his serious adventures, but things seem difficult when there are challenges he may face.

The Astronaut Farmer's goofy quality makes it totally endearing. It's also super entertaining. Critics are fond of referring to movies as a 'great ride.' With this one, the words couldn't be more apt.
