Sense and Sensibility
Description
Dashwood left his three daughters dead from his first marriage: Elinor, Marianne, and Margaret. Under difficult circumstances for girls to pass and girls' lives may be stifled by lack of wealth, Elinor tries to keep up with serious family matters as she tries to keep things going. Both Elinor and Marianne face significant obstacles because of their need for money, especially when they decide to get married. Elinor thinks about how things are going after her father's death, but Marianne looks more romantic and makes an effort to reverse her sister's under very difficult circumstances.
