Description
It seems that things were not good at a time when a bloody war was brewing in the country. This film begins with the times that followed the Second World War - from 1945 to 1952. It may have been at a critical juncture during that period, when Finland had to settle more than 440,000 evacuees from Karelia. Finland also built more than 100,000 new homes in a record period after the war.
