Description
Chris a high school underdog finally musters up the courage to profess his love to Jamie, a famous cheerleader. She casts him off be saying she just want to be friends. Ridden by rejection Chris settles in another country and makes himself a womaniser music executive. After 10 years he comes back to his country and meets Jamie. He then tries to amend his past and asks Jamie out again, which he finds is now even more difficult.

No one will be surprised by the plot machinations that ensue, but the film is saved from utter tedium thanks to a relatively intelligent screenplay and the amiability of the leads.
